Angelino Garzon must explain Dana Wine & Spirits Importers, Inc contract.
Industria de Licores del Valle was audited by Contraloria Departamental and serious violations of the State Contractual
Law. Dana Wine did not provide the required commercial agreements to distribute Licorera's products in 15 states of the territory
of United States and did not present experience acreditation said the report. In addition Dana Wine does not have the insurance
policies to execute the contract. Despite that Industria de Licores has been shipping aguardiente to the United States, inclusively
without complaying with United States alcoholic laws requirements. Dana Wine just presented in august 03, 2004 the ATF Label
Approval for the product.
700.000 voters demand an explanation, said Pax Jubilo recently in a public interview.
The lack of public information and transparency in relation to this contract allows Industria de Licores el Valle public
official to maintain the aura of secrecy necessary for corruption to continue.
We need to improve income. In the Valley we must do in depth a debate on that, to fight against the administrative
irresponsibility and any demonstration of corruption. Doing that the businesses of the Department become be more profitable.
Said recently Garzon, however this is not the case in Dana Wine contract according to Controlaria Departamental report on
Industria de Licores del Valle.
